Wayne Power

Wayne Power returns to Phil Grimes this September. Power has forged a reputation as one of Ireland's most formidable and prolific spoken word talents. Ahead of the premiere of his debut play Dress You Up , Power will perform a high octane evening of poetry an spoken word. Poems that cut to the core of the human condition , delivered with an unapologetic grittiness, humour and boundless energy. Spanning from a. catalogue of nearly 200 poems across three acclaimed poetry collections. With his fourth collection primed for release in 2025.

Support on the night comes from Dublin poet Sean Watmore, a critically acclaimed voice, fresh from the release of debut collection 'Bicycles and Bedframes ' and championed by the likes of Imelda May. Delivering one of the finest literary collections this year.

Kildare poet Sean Corrigan will also perform, having wowed at Power's Slip of the Tongue poetry event. An emerging voice in contemporary poetry.

Music on the night is provided by 2Time Charlie vocalist , the soulful Luke Donnelly. Luke has thrilled audiences with his mesmeric vocal range, having released a string of radio hits with 2Time Charlie. As well as collaborating with Power on A Place For US.
