Outspoken is a bilingual spoken-word open mic held once a month on a Friday evening at Red Books, St. Peter’s Square, Slippery Green, Wexford Town.

Hosted by Deirdre McGarry, Álanna Hammel, and Jimi Rivets, each session features a special guest poet or a themed event.

Guest poets read for 10–15 minutes, followed by a coffee break and an open-mic session with five-minute slots. Attendance is free, and audience members are welcome without performing.
