Celebrate the international language of poetry with Slamovision, a unique spoken word showcase hosted by the UNESCO Cities of Literature. Ahead of Dublin hosting the 2025 finals, this special event features last year’s champion Cormac Mac Gearailt performing his winning poem Lament of the Trees—the first Irish-language piece to win the title—as well as a set from 2023’s entrant Leon Dunne. Hosted by Rising Tide poets Dave Hynes, Sheila Ryder, and Leon Dunne, this is an unmissable night of local talent on the global stage.
