A night of exciting spoken word performance with wonderful prizes. You are invited to come along with your poetry, prose, song or yarn. There will be judges, rounds, bells, timekeepers, losers and outright winners. No publications or previous experience necessary. You should come prepared with about three pieces, so you’ll have enough material should they progress beyond round one. You will be judged on literary merit, ability to recite text unaided and performance. This will be a fast-paced, good-natured, light-hearted evening of creative fun. Time to get practising in front of the mirror!
